Our special Chestnut (MARRONI) is comming from
north Italy and south Switzerland.
Marroni (special Chestnut) as we use it is mostly known only in Switzerland, North Italy, South Tyrol and less in South Germany and South Austria.
What is common in various countries is chestnut (Castanea). The differences can be seen below
